The Light of the World

When we are awakened to all the narcissism around us, the evil in this world, we realize we are light that exposes darkness as God's chosen ones. It is because of our light that shines the demon spirits get irritated when we are around a narcissist. But we come to realize it isn't 'our' light but the light of Jesus shining through us! 

Jesus is the light of the world. John 8:12. Jesus sits on the right hand of God who is also a spirit within. Romans 8:34 and throughout the New Testament (NT). It is the light from Jesus that shines through us and exposes the darkness of this world. A lot of people have been conditioned to believe that the second resurrection of Jesus is physical and in a way it is but not how they were taught it is. It is our physical bodies that serve as the temple for the Holy Spirit when Jesus is resurrected in spirit IN us. 2 Corinthians 13:5. 

This means that we become the beacon of light as it is no longer us who walk but Christ who walks through us. Galatians 2:20. There is a lot that goes into being the children of light of the world and it is not easy. Following Jesus in a world that hates him is a challenge but one we welcome with boldness as we continue to grow stronger in spirit every day. Growing stronger in spirit is part of trauma healing in so many ways! It is spiritual strength from Christ that keeps us going forward and not looking back. 

We will encounter narcissists while navigating through the fallen world and this is why God has us wake up and gain spiritual discernment so we can combat in spirit and walk after the spirit. We must be willing to put away all fleshy desires to please God and follow Jesus. Again, it is called repentance. Evildoers do not repent and they like their sin. They have been perfectly programmed to live in sin forever and perish for many reasons. Chosen ones won't perish! We have visions from God and will prosper in all areas of our lives. 

We just need to get over the hurdles associated with trauma healing and keep growing spiritually, getting closer to God. The closer to God we become, the closer to us He will be. It's a win-win relationship with the Godhead. Narcissists will never get this truth and wisdom because they lack spiritual discernment and refuse to accept Jesus in spirit. We can only accept Jesus in spirit when we are spiritually awake and aware! And we begin to walk as the children of light we are instructed to walk as and not let the evil dim our light ever again. Ephesians 5.
